Good Friday Walk of Witness

Join Christians from across Shipley as we walk through our town to witness to all that Jesus did for us on Good Friday.
11.00am Walk of witness and prayer from St Peter’s to St Paul’s. Meet in the car park at St Peter’s.

12.00noon Walk of Witness
Setting off from St Paul’s in Kirkgate, we will walk through our town to witness to the events of Good Friday, stopping to pray on our way. This year, the walk will conclude in the park area next to the Asda supermarket, as there is major building work taking place in the Market Square where we usually end! We will gather in the park at the end of the walk to worship together with Good Friday hymns from the Salvation Army band. Those who wish may have soup and a roll after the service at the Baptist Church in Shipley.
Good Friday Reflections at the Foot of the Cross

An hour of quiet reflection and prayer, including the opportunity to follow the stations of the cross and to experience Take Time meditation, as we consider the death of Jesus on the cross and what it means for us.
Easter Sunrise Service

Welcome the Eastertide dawn on the greatest day of the year for Christians! Anglicans in Shipley will gather together for a short service on Northcliffe as the sun rises on Easter Day will be followed by breakfast together at St Peter’s.
Easter Day All Age Communion Celebration

All ages and both morning congregations come together to celebrate that Jesus is risen! All welcome – the service will include Holy Communion. Note – no separate 9.30am or 11.15am services today.
