St Peter’s Church is a lovely setting in which to get married. Being a Church of England church, the clergy are licensed to conduct Christian weddings.
To be married in the church you need either to live close-by (in the geographical parish), be a regular worshipper (on the electoral roll) or have a qualifying connection (eg. baptised in the church, been a regular worshipper in the past or have a close family connection).
If you are planning a reception afterwards, please make sure you book the church first.
The Church Office will help you with all initial and administrative planning. The person taking the service will liaise with you about the content of the service, will guide you through the service and will be praying for you.
For all initial enquiries – including dates, qualifying connections, costs, and enquiries about the calling of banns – please contact the office.
