Natasha’s Reflections

It has been wonderful to get the feedback from our 24/7 prayer time, to hear how different people found their hour with God. Many confessed that they had been nervous as to whether they could spend so much time, but to their delight had found the time had sped by. Others had found the fact that they were part of a united prayer front very reassuring and encouraging, enabling those who perhaps are not always able to contribute to feel part of the whole.

I have written up, the feedback given to me so far, and will make this available at the back of church on Sunday and will also provide space for those who want to share their reflections at the Away Day this Saturday at St John’s Baildon (9.30 – 4.15pm)

What I found so encouraging were these words, that were echoed by two or three people: Unity; Restore; Overflowing / Spilling Out; Generosity; Hospitality; Laughter; Friendship; Welcoming; Loving as God loves; Hope

Such beautiful words. So, from Saturday, I hope we can start to think how we as God’s people we may begin to a plan in place to enable these values to happen a time where we

  • Find God speaking to us
  • Build relationships with people we did not know so well
  • Feel inspired to shine God’s love in ways that only we can

As we continue to read the ‘Letter to the Hebrews’ I really advise that you have a listen to the Bible Project’s podcasts
