As we reach the August Bank Holiday weekend, we’ll be celebrating together outdoors this week with a special service out and about in the parish! Join us at Hirst Wood recreation ground at 10.30am on Sunday morning for a short worship service, thinking about the time when Jesus met his disciples after the resurrection and they celebrated together with a barbecue on the beach! Bring something to sit on and a picnic so that we can all enjoy celebrating together after the service! Keep an eye on the weather forecast too and dress appropriately – plenty of layers and a just-in-case brolly!
We’ll be back at church on Sunday evening with an informal shortened service of Holy Communion at 6.30pm – all welcome to join us.
