It’s the third Sunday in the month, so there is no 9.30am All Age Service at St Peter’s but there will be a service of Holy Communion at 11.15am. In the afternoon, Messy Church will be taking place at St Peter’s from 3.30pm – come along and celebrate Pentecost with games, songs, stories, crafts and activities and share a meal together!
More widely, Shipley Christians Together will be holding a Pentecost Praise event in the grounds of Saltaire URC in Victoria Road from 3pm on Sunday 19th, with John Froud and his band. In the city centre, there will be Pentecost in the City taking place between 2 and 4pm in City Park, Centenary Square – various stalls will be set up around the square from 2pm and there will be live music from a stage – a ‘Unity Service’ celebrating Pentecost will start at 3.15pm.
