As you are aware, John is retiring as the incumbent (the vicar!) at St Peter’s in September this year.
The Parochial Church Council are now working with the Diocese of Leeds to prepare for the future. Although a lot of formal processes are still to be gone through in the coming weeks, the diocese has indicated to us that they do believe it is right to appoint another ordained minister to St Peter’s. We will be working with Andy, our Archdeacon, and Toby, our Bishop, to find the person we believe God is calling to lead our parish and our church family into the next stage.
