4th Sunday before Advent – Environment Sunday
All our services today with be focussing on the theme of ‘Caring for God’s World’. Members of our Environment Group will be helping to lead all our services and we’ll be hearing more about how we achieved our Eco-church bronze award and what comes next!
9.30am All Age Worship
Join Mark, Jackie and Gemma for this short service, suitable for all ages as we learn, worship and pray together, learning today about the importance of running water and how we can help by twinning our toilets!
10.30-10.55am Refreshments
Don’t forget though that everyone can come together for refreshments between the two morning services from 10.30-10.55am to catch up. Refreshments will be served in church
11am – Holy Communion
Joe and Viv will be leading at this service, and we will be joined by Rev Sue Penfold, who will be talking about why environmental issues matter for Christians and how we can contribute towards creating a plastic-free Shipley!
6.30pm – Evening Reset
Our informal evening service to give us all an opportunity to review the past week and reset for the week to come with God, with time tonight to reflect on what God is calling us to do to help take better care of his world.
