Services this Sunday – February 6 2022

Apologies that we had some issues updating our website earlier this week!

Fourth Sunday before Lent

9.30am All-age Worship

Join us for this short service which is suitable for anyone of any age. This week, we are thinking in all our services about ‘News of a New Kingdom’ so join Rachel, Mark and John to learn more as we look at Luke 4:16-21!

Say farewell to Judith: Our much-loved Church Administrator, Judith Hudson, retired on Friday after 15 years looking after the church ofice and all of us. Judith will be with us for refreshments between the two morning services and at the 11am service – do join us if you are able, to say a huge thank you to Judith for all she has done for us all!

11am – Holy Communion

John will be speaking on today’s theme of News of a New Kingdom, looking at Amos 9:11-15 and Luke 4:38-44. We will also be saying our formal farewells and thanks to Judith during the service. Today is also the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s accession to the throne on 6 February 1952 and we will be especially remembering and praying for her during the service.

6.30pm Sunday Evening Reset

Our fortnightly informal service with time for worship, teaching and prayer and space to reflect and renew as we review the past week with God and reset for the one to come. Refreshments available throughout the service – drop in and join us.

Note: England has returned to ‘Plan A’ COVID 19 measures and we give thanks that infection rates are once again coming down to allow this to happen. In line with national government and church guidance, it is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering in church. However, we would encourage you to continue to do so during services if at all possible, as COVID infection rates remain high and it is important we do all we can to take care of each other. Hand sanitising facilities will continue to be available in church and the halls – please make use of these and continue to be sensitive to the feelings and concerns of others around the pandemic.
