Book now for outdoor worship next Sunday

Over the period of the pandemic, we have already enjoyed two outdoor services in our car park – one at Christmas and on a few weeks ago on Pentecost Sunday.

Outdoor worship is great as, under the current restrictions, it allows us all to be able to sing together in praising God – and it allows our local community to see what we get up to on a Sunday and to join in as they pass by!

As a result, over the months of the summer period, we will hold one outdoors service a month. Hopefully, by the time autumn comes and the weather gets much cooler, we may be able to sing together indoors again and invite anyone who wishes to come in and join us without restrictions on numbers – keep praying for that!

In the meantime, we will be doing things differently on the third Sundays of the months of June, July and August. Starting from next week (Sunday June 20) there will be just one All Age Morning Worship service, outdoors in the car park at 10.30am. This will be the only service on these Sundays – there will be no evening service. Messy Church will be broadcast online at 3.30pm on our YouTube channel. You can watch June’s edition now here!

You do still need to book for outdoors services at the current time. If the weather is very wet, we will have an alternative plan for an indoor service – but please pray that the sun will shine on us!

Click here to book for Car Park Worship on Sunday 20 June at 10.30am – or you can phone or email the church office between 9am and noon Monday to Friday to book. Online booking will be open until 8.30am on Sunday morning.

A very small number of car parking spaces will be available for those with severe mobility problems – please phone or email the church office this week to book one of these if needed. If you park in one of the surrounding streets next Sunday morning, please be considerate to our neighbours and park thoughtfully.
