Worship for Trinity Sunday

Join us this Sunday to mark Trinity Sunday as we think about what it means that God is three in one.

We had a great time at Picnic Church and at the Morning Worship PRAYer service this morning, learning more about Nicodemus and what he learnt though his meeting with Jesus in John chapter 3 and how the Father, Son and Holy Spirit changed his life and can change ours too!

We also had a special parish meeting this morning, following on from our Annual Prochial Church Meeting a few weeks ago, when we were only able to elect one chuchwarden – Hazel Wilmshurst. Karen continues as warden until the “Archdeacon’s Visitation” when new wardens officially start on 29 June this year, but will then be stepping down from the role. We were delighted this morning to hear that John had reveived a further nomination for Mervyn Silva, proposed by Kathy Tedd and seconded by Ian Walker.

Mervyn was therefore appointed to the other churchwarden’s post at this morning’s meeting – look out here for more information to help you to get to know him better, if you don’t already!

Evening Prayer took place live in church at 4pm and you will be able to watch it on our YouTube channel here from 6.30pm this evening. Apologies for one or two technical hiccups this evening – don’t worry if there is no sound at the start of the service during the notices – just fast forward a bit and the sound kicks in before we get to the important stuff!
