Book now for outdoor Pentecost Praise in the car park next Sunday Morning – 23 May
Next Sunday is Pentecost Sunday and we will be celebrating this special festival with an outdoor service in the car park (weather permitting!)
Pentecost Praise will see us all gather outdoors so that we are all able to sing out loud together and without masks as we celebrate the day when the Holy Spirit came on the first disciples and the church was born!
There will be seating for everyone in the car park and, within the current restrictions, we can accommodate up to 60 people. Although the service is outdoors, it is still essential to book to attend – use the link above to book online, or phone (01274 400381) or email (office@stpetes.org.uk) the church office. You can book via the office until 12 noon on Friday, online booking is available until 8.30am on Sunday morning. You do not need to wear a facemask for the outdoor service.
Please note there will obviously be very limited car parking available – we will make five car parking spaces available for those with access problems and these can be booked on a first come first served basis – please telephone the church office to book a parking space. If at all possible, please avoid bringing your car to church next week or park elsewhere locally and walk – but please respect our neighbours when parking off-site!
If the weather is wet, there will be an alternative service in church, but we will not be able to have congregational singing and those attending will need to wear face coverings if indoors.
There will be no picnic church and no evening service live in church next week – although there will be a short, said service of evening prayer on the church’s YouTube channel at 6.30pm – click here to watch it.
