During these days of Lockdown, we encourage you to respond to our Archbishops’ call to make November 2020 a month of prayer for our nation. We know that we are in the faithful hands of the risen Christ who knows our weaknesses, tiredness and struggles and whose steadfast love endures forever.
Christians are encouraged to pray together each day at 6pm – you may wish to aim for this time or to pray whenever in the day works best for you. We have adapted our daily prayer resources, which you can download here, to include the prayers and topics for prayer the church is suggesting for each day of the year.
If you would like to join with others in St Peter’s to pray, Morning Prayer will be led on our Facebook Page on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9am and Evening Prayer on Tuesdays at 5.30pm. The church will be open for individual prayers on Thursday mornings between 9.30 and 11am, if you would like to play alongside – although not with – others!
