Remembrance Sunday will take place on Sunday 8 November.
Church of England and Government guidance is clear that commemorations and services for Remembrance Day may take place as usual, provided all the restrictions in place due to the pandemic are observed.
We will be marking Remembrance Sundayat St Peter’s with a service at 10.45am on Sunday 8 November. Although we will need to keep the service shorter in length, it will include many of the familiar elements of Remembrance Day including the two minutes’ silence at 11am.
As with all events and services currently, we will need to limit attendance and it will be necessary to book in advance to help us to manage this. The congregation will be limited to 50 and we have opened bookings for the service now to give more opportunity for you to book to attend.
You can book online here to attend Remembrance Sunday at 10.45am on Sunday 8 November. You can also book by phoning or emailing the church office, as with all Sunday services.
Picnic Church at 9.30am will be taking place as usual and will also have a Remembrance Day theme and Evening Worship will also happen at 4pm in church for broadcast on YouTube at 6.30pm. Booking for these services will open as usual a week in advance.
