Booking for services this week – Sunday 20 September

Join us for worship this coming Sunday, September 20, either live in church or live online!

There will be Picnic Church at 9.30am – bring your own folding chair or picnic blanket, a drink and a snack (or your breakfast!) and enjoy an all-age, family-friendly time together.

At 10.45, the PRAYer Service will be happening. This a quieter service to focus on prayer and reflection – and chairs are provided!

We’re really pleased that it’s also now possible to attend Evening Worship in church as well, if you wish to. Evening Worship services will still be live-streamed on YouTube but it will also be possible for a small congregation to be present in church.

Like our other services, we need to limit numbers and booking will be necessary – because of the additional equipment we need to have set up in church for live-streaming, the attendance capacity for Evening Worship will be 20. Members of the congregation will not be visible on the live-stream camera.

Wednesday Morning Communion will also be taking place at 11am on Wednesday 16 September.

You can book online for any of these services using the links on this page or by going straight to the Eventbrite website and searching for St Peter’s Shipley. Online booking is open any time up to 8.30am on the day for Sunday morning services and up to 5pm on the day for evening services.

It helps us if you are able to book online but don’t worry if you don’t have access or find it difficult – you can still email or telephone the church office to book, Monday – Friday between 9am and 12 noon.

A reminder that access to the church is only via the car park door, hand-washing and social distancing requirements remain in place and it is mandatory to wear a face covering unless you are in one of the exempt categories.

All our livestream services can be found on our YouTube channel here and keep an eye on our Facebook page here for further details. You can download the order of service for Evening Worship here, to allow you to follow along during the livestream broadcast.
