St Peter's in Winter

Join us for worship this Petertide

Join us today – Petertide – for worship. Petertide is the Sunday closest to St Peter’s day – which is tomorrow, 29 June. St Peter is, of course, our own patron here at St Peter’s!

If you would like to share in the Church of England’s national service this morning, you can watch it on their website here from 9am – this week is a exploring the welcome that God offers to us to experience his love and what that means for our own welcome and hospitality.

For St Peter’s Online this week, at 10.30am, Rachel will be leading Family Worship with Emma Taylor, a member of our Risen Youth Group, over on our Facebook page here.

This evening 6.30pm, there will be a service of Evening Worship over on our YouTube channel here at 6.30pm. This week we’re continuing our teaching series thinking about the Lord’s Prayer, focussing on asking God to ‘Forgive us our sins’. You can download the words for the service from here to enable you to join in.

We also have great news this week which is that St Peter’s will be reopening for private prayer from next Sunday. The church will be open for individual prayer only, as we wait for further guidance around restarting worshp services in church. Further details about what this will mean will appear shortly here on the website and on YouTube so keep checking in!

Whatever you join us for – have a great Sunday!
