We know that keeping children and young people happy and entertained during lockdown when schools are closed is especially stressful and difficult.
We want them and their families to know that God always loves and cares for them and knows when they are having a good time or a hard time – and so does their church family!
We will still be providing as many activities as we can to keep you going during Lockdown – keep checking back here and we will add information as activities are planned and set up.
At the moment, you can join in with:
Risen; Sunday Evenings – an online interactive session for young people via Zoom. Contact our Youth Worker, Rachel McGirr, to find out more and get the link to join at email@example.com.
Messy Church – monthly; Sundays at 3.30pm – Messy Church Online offers all the fun of Messy Church in person! Once a month on a Sunday afternoon, enjoy games, crafts, stories, songs, prayers and something extra for the adults on the St Peter’s YouTube Channel. Craft boxes are available each month to help you join in with the activities – again, email Rachel at the address above if you would like to arrange to receive one. The next Messy Churches will go live at 3.30pm on Sunday 24 January and Sunday 21 February. In the meantime, you can watch previous episodes on our YouTube channel by searching for the Messy Church playlist.
The Jesse Tree – our children’s Advent project this year included a series of Bible stories, telling the whole story of Jesus’ family line through the whole Bible – one for each day of the month – read by church members. You can still watch these on our YouTube channel by searching for the Jesse Tree playlist.
