Come and join us this Friday – and every Friday from now onwards – for Welcome Space at St Peter’s!
Lots of members of the church and the local community appreciated Warm Space which ran at St Peter’s over the past winter – a space every Friday to find a warm welcome, a hot drink and light refreshments and as much or as little company as you like!
Warm Space ran from October to the end of March and we have spent the last few weeks reviewing how the project ran and looking at its future.
The space to come together was appreciated by so many people that we will be relaunching as Welcome Space this coming Friday! Hopefully, as we move into the summer months, the need find a warm space will reduce as temperatures rise but the welcome will be as warm as always, whatever the weather!
Welcome Space will happen every Friday between 11am and 2pm in the church halls and there will be hot drinks, cake and a light lunch provided – we may branch out from soup as the weather changes but you’ll have to keep coming to find out!
Everyone is welcome – no one will ask why you’re there – and food and drink is on a pay as you feel or are able to basis – again, no questions asked.
