It’s that time of year again – join us this weekend as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together!
4pm Christmas Eve – Crib Service
Come dressed as one of the characters in the nativity and help us to retell the story of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus in a stable. This short service is a truly joyous time of mirth and mayhem for the family as we get ready for Christmas Day. As always, there will be sweets and balloons aplenty – come along and join the fun.
There will be no first Communion of Christmas service at St Peter’s this year. If you wish to attend a service in person, you are welcome to go to St Paul’s Church in Kirkgate in Shipley, where a service will take place at 11.30pm. If you would like to watch an online service welcoming in Christmas Day at home, you can watch our online Communion Service from last year, which is available on YouTube here.
10.30am Christmas Day – Christmas Celebration
Church family worship as we all come together to welcome Jesus! Come and sing some carols (including a world preview of a very special new one!) share your Christmas gifts (especially the weird ones!) and join us as we celebrate this special day together. The service will be followed by a short spoken service of Holy Communion for those who wish to stay. Refreshments will also be available after the service.
Please note, as it is Christmas Day, there will be no evening service on Sunday 25th!
