Once again, our buildings may be closed for a time but our church definetely isn’t!
Much of our church family life continues in the virtual online space at least, during the time we cannot meet regularly face to face.
However, we know it can be difficult, especially for those less used to using technology, to know when things are happening and how to find the right thing in the right place at the right time. So we have set up this Online Hub to bring everything together into one place.
In the hub, you will find links to a weekly blog from John or one of the staff team, the weekly noticesheets, details of worship taking place each Sunday and materials to use in daily prayers and details of when these are taking place online if you wish to join in.
We have also added some new materials we hope you will find useful as well, including a page on Shipley Neighbours, information on activities for children and young people, information on social activities such as the weekly coffee morning sessions on Zoom and some links to other virtual resources that you might find helpful.
Brand new for this lockdown are the addition of ‘Pete’s Player’ – a resource which will help you to find the recordings of each week’s services, if you want to watch them again or catch up later, and also to listen to or download the sermons from each week’s services. We have also started a series of ‘Encouraging Testimonies for Trying Times’ where we hope church members will be able to share their stories of God at work in their lives in these times. This is something lots of people said they would find helpful in the worship survey we did over the summer, so do both listen and send us your stories!
Just click on the link on the hub to find the content you are interested in. As well as accessing it from this post, you can find the hub by going to the ‘What we do’ menu at the top of the home page. We will shortly be adding a link straight to the hub from the drop-down menu there but, until that appears, if you click on the links to ‘Services’ you will find a link to the Church Online hub at the top of the page.
