Although we’re not able to open the church for public services at the moment due to the current pandemic lockdown restrictions, we will very much be open for worship on Remembrance Day – please do join us online if you are able!
At 9.30am on Sunday morning, Rachel will be leading a time of Family Worship on our Facebook page here. Start off your Sundays with a bit of fun whilst connecting with God! This short, interactive and creative all age worship isn’t just for children and families – the ideas can speak to anyone and all are welcome. There is a sheet of activity ideas supporting the session, which you can download here.
The national Church of England Service for Remembrance Day from the Royal Military Chapel will be broadcast online at 9am – you can find out more about where to watch this and download the words for the service from the Church of England website here.
Then, if you’d like to meet up online with other church members for a chat over a coffee or tea, Helen Scott will be hosting an online social time on Zoom from 10.15am. You can join the Zoom meeting here and the meeting ID is 838 3514 4781.
There will be a short Act of Remembrance broadcast from church on our Youtube channel – click here to watch. The service will be available to watch from 10.45am tomorrow – start it just after 10.50am if you would like the 2 minutes’ silence to start at 11am! You can download the words here to help you to join in at home.
In the evening at 6.30pm, we will be broadcasting a service of Evening Worship which will also focus on remembrance on our YouTube channel – click here to watch it. You can download the liturgy for this here if you find it helpful to follow along.
The building may be closed for now but the church isn’t – prayer, worship and church family life continues as always – please join us!
